Any mold inaccuracy means material losses, delays and additional costs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out how in Geo <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.geoglobe.pl\/en\/about-us\/mission-statement\/\"   title=\"Mission statement\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"261\">Globe<\/a> Poland we designed molds made of recycled ABS, which improved mass production and realistically reduced costs on the customer side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Who was the customer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The client was a company in the foundry and precast concrete industry, carrying out batch production of elements of various shapes. The scale of operations and the growing number of projects required solutions that would not only maintain quality, but also rationally manage costs and production development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In practice, this meant a need to change the approach to the precast concrete molds used to date, which, although technically proven, had begun to limit further development of production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this project, the key was to find a solution that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>will fit into the company's long-term environmental strategy.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Will reduce the cost of preparing molds,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>will enable fast and repeatable mass production,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>will ensure the durability and stability of the shapes,<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What problem did the customer face?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The concrete molds previously used were costly to make and time-consuming to prepare, which, with the growing number of orders, began to have a real impact on the profitability of production. Each new mold meant a high initial investment and a long implementation time, which limited flexibility when introducing new precast products and made it difficult to scale production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, with intensive use, there was a risk of gradual loss of shape repeatability. For the customer, this meant greater quality control, the risk of rejects and the lack of full process stability at high volumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The need to comply with environmental policy was also an important factor. Traditional molds did not fit into the assumptions of a closed cycle - at the end of their life cycle they became waste, with no possibility of reusing the material. So the client was looking for a solution that would be both economically viable and environmentally responsible, without compromising on sustainability and production quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Solution designed by Geo Globe Poland<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to our client's needs, we proposed forms <strong>made of recycled ABS, produced on our own extrusion line<\/strong>i. This gave us full control over the stability and reproducibility of the material already at the manufacturing stage. This approach allowed us to optimize the cost of making the molds compared to traditional solutions, while significantly reducing their preparation time thanks to an efficient, repeatable production process. The result was a solution better suited to the realities of mass production. We obtained a component that is stable in quality, quick to implement and optimal in terms of cost and environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An important aspect of the project was also the customized approach to the construction of the product. The mold was planned and designed from the ground up, according to the client's requirements and the realities of its manufacturing process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-efekt-koncowy-co-zyskal-klient\"><strong>The end result - what did the customer gain?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Lower cost of preparing molds<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The change in technology made it possible to significantly reduce the cost of making molds, without compromising on quality and durability. This has made our projects more profitable already at the stage of production preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Faster deployment and greater production flexibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Shorter mold making and commissioning times translated into more efficient production planning. The customer gained the ability to respond quickly to new orders and the ability to scale serial production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Stable process at high volumes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintaining shape repeatability was crucial for the customer. The implementation of recycled ABS molds ensured high shape repeatability.
