Information on the terms and conditions of personal data processing

§1 The controller of personal data is Geo Globe Polska Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Spółka Komandytowa with its registered office in Mikołów 43-190 at ul. Dzieńdziela 30. §2 Personal data shall be processed in order to:
  • perform a contract or to take action at the request of the person to whom the contract relates, pursuant to Article 6 6 (1) (b) GDPR and possible defence against claims or their assertion, pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR,
  • accounting and tax settlements, pursuant to Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR,
  • pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR – for purposes resulting from the consent to the processing of personal data,
  • commercial contacts, pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR
  • The recipients of personal data may be: email and server hosting provider, external legal services, external entities providing HR and accounting software, as well as competent state authorities.

§3 Personal data shall be processed for a period of 6 years from the date of performance of the contract (data necessary to perform the contract) and 6 years from the date of issuing the invoice/bill (billing data). In the case of data processing based on consent, it shall be processed until the consent is withdrawn or the purpose of processing ceases. After this period, the data shall be archived/deleted.

§4 Providing personal data in the field of identification, contact and billing data shall be necessary in order to contact the controller, conclude and perform the contract and perform the legal obligations.

§5 Providing personal data processed on the basis of consent shall be voluntary. Lack of consent may prevent the use of services for which it is necessary to consent to the processing of personal data (e.g. using the contact form).

§6 Providing other personal data shall be voluntary. Failure to provide this data may prevent the implementation of the indicated purpose of consent.

§7 We provide information about the following granted rights:
  • access to own data, rectification, limitation of processing and deletion of data in the cases specified in Article 17 GDPR,
  • transfer data processed pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) (b) GDPR, to another controller, if it is technically possible, and to receive a copy of the data in a structured format, this right can only be exercised when the processing is performed in an automated manner,
  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data, if given. Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data shall not affect the lawfulness of the previous processing of this data,
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, kancelaria@uodo.gov.pl.

§8 We also inform about right to object to the processing of personal data processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the controller. According to Article 21 GDPR, an objection may be raised for reasons related to the particular situation of the data subject.

Cookies Policy

The following Cookie Policy sets out the rules for saving and accessing data on the Devices of Users using the Website for the purposes of providing electronic services by the Website Controller.

§ 1 Definitions

Website – a website operating at the COMPANY’S WWW ADDRESS

External website – the website of the Controller’s partners, service providers or recipients

Controller – the company “GEO GLOBE POLSKA” Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Spółka komandytowa, operating at the following address: ul. Dziendziela 30, 43-190 Mikołów, with NIP (tax identification number): 634-00-20-275, REGON [national business registry number] 271925297, registered in the District Court in Katowice, Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number: 0000517686, providing services electronically via the Website and storing and accessing information in the User’s devices

User – a natural person for whom the Controller provides electronic services via the Website

Device – an electronic device with software through which the User gains access to the Website

Cookies – text data collected in the form of files placed on the User’s Device

§ 2 Types of Cookies

Internal cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the Website’s ICT system

External cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the external Website’s ICT system

Session cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the Website or External Websites during one session of a given Device. After the session ends, the files are deleted from the User’s Device.

Persistent cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the Website or External Websites until they are manually removed. The files are not automatically deleted after the end of the Device session, unless the configuration of the User’s Device is set to the mode of deleting cookies after the end of the Device session.

§ 3 Security

Storage and reading mechanisms – Cookies storage and reading mechanisms do not allow for downloading any personal data or any confidential information from the User’s Device. Transferring viruses, Trojan horses and other worms to the User’s Device is practically impossible.

Internal cookies – internal cookies used by the Controller are safe for Users’ Devices.

External cookies – the Controller is not responsible for the security of Cookie files from the partners of the Website. The list of partners is included in the further part of the Cookie Policy.

§ 4 Purposes for which Cookies are used

Streamlining and facilitating access to the Website – The Controller may store information about the user’s preferences and settings regarding the Website in Cookie files in order to streamline, improve and accelerate the provision of services within the Website.

Marketing and advertising – The Controller and external Websites use cookies for purposes of marketing and serving Users’ advertisements.

Statistical data – The Controller and external websites use cookies to collect and process statistical data, such as visit statistics, User Device statistics or user behaviour statistics. This data is collected in order to and improve the Website.

Serving multimedia services – The Controller and external websites use Cookies to serve multimedia services to Users.

Social services – The Controller and external websites use Cookies to support social services.

§ 5 External services

The Controller cooperates with the following external websites that may place Cookie files on the User’s Devices:

  • Google Analytics
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • Youtube

§ 6 Possibilities of specifying the terms and conditions of storage and access on the User’s Devices by the Website and External Websites

The user may, at any time, independently change the settings for saving, deleting and accessing the data of saved Cookies.

The User may at any time delete all Cookie files saved so far using the tools of the User’s Device through which the User uses the Website’s services.

§ 7 Disclaimer

The controller uses all possible measures to ensure the security of data placed in Cookie files. However, it should be noted that ensuring the security of this data depends on both parties, including the User’s activity and the security status of the device he/she uses.

The Controller shall not be responsible for the interception of data contained in Cookies, impersonation of the User’s session or its removal as a result of the User’s conscious or unconscious activity, viruses, Trojan horse viruses and other spyware that may infect the User’s Device.

Services provided by third parties are beyond the control of the Controller. These parties may change their terms and conditions of service, purpose and use of cookies at any time. The Controller shall not be responsible as far as the law allows for the operation of cookies used by partner websites. Users can independently manage permissions and cookie settings for any website at any time.

§ 8 Website Requirements

Restricting the storage and access to cookies on the User’s Device may result in incorrect operation of some of the Website’s functions.

The Controller shall bear no responsibility for incorrectly functioning Website functions if the User restricts in any way the ability to save and read Cookie files.

§ 9 Amendments to the Cookie Policy

The Controller reserves the right to amend this Cookie Policy at any time without the need to inform users about it.

Any amendments made to the Cookie Policy shall always be published on this page.

The introduced amendments shall come into force on the date of publication of the Cookie Policy.
