Geo Globe Poland's representation took part in the Runmageddon organized at the end of August this year. Runmageddon, which this time took place near Krakow. The motto of the event speaks for itself - strength and character are born in the mud.

Runmageddon is an OCR (obstacle course race), which is a race in extreme conditions conducted over extreme obstacles. There is a reason why it is accompanied by the colors used in crash tests. Participation in such an uncompromising event is also a crash test of sorts and a clash with one's self-image. Difficult conditions, time pressure and fatigue put to the test not only the character, but also the morale of the team that dared to take part in such a murderous run. Teams of five people can choose from several routes that vary in length and level of difficulty. Our team decided to Recruit level, where there are 30 obstacles to overcome over a distance of 6 km.

How was it?
- Runmageddon is quite a challenge. The organizers boast that 80% people are unable to complete the entire route alone. There is something in this, because some obstacles without teamwork and teamwork cannot be overcome. Here there is no choice, either together or not at all - he mentions Zbigniew Chrobok, maintenance specialist - Standing at the finish line afterwards, you feel that you can do anything. This is unimaginable adrenaline!

The organizer cannot be denied his imagination in creating the names of the various obstacles. Intestine (going through a pipe), vietkong (crawling under a wire in water), delivery room (dipping under tires and emerging in the mud), vulcanizer's nightmare (going through unfolded tires) or gangbang (here you have to get through a row of rugby players). In general, the obstacles are constructed to make life as difficult as possible for the runners.

- It's extremely satisfying to hear from their colleagues that they found an interesting event and want to go to it as a GeoGlobe representation. To know them from their work as matter-of-fact specialists, and then to see them muddied, exhausted, but happy because they proved themselves again as a team that can find its way in any circumstances. - comments Mariusz Kopczynski, Commercial Director - ¶The news that the idea of participating in the Runmageddon in the company's colors at all, the initiative to create special outfits is very encouraging to me, because it means that as a company we have something to offer that our employees also want to identify with in their private time.
